Build
Build several features at once
Last updated: October 2026
Once your project is set up, you don't have to build one feature, wait, and ask for the next. You can hand Claude Code a few at once. This page shows three ways, from easiest to most advanced.
Which features can go together?
- One after the other: any Ready features. Claude Code builds them in order, so a feature that needs another one comes after it.
- At the same time: only features that don't need each other: no depends on line between them, not even through other cards. "Brands can rate travellers" and "Travellers post check-in photos" can; "Brands get a refund" and "Admins can review disputes" can't, because the refund needs the disputes first.
- Set up the project always comes first, on its own: everything else builds on it.
You don't have to work this out yourself: the board does it for you (below).
Pick them on the board
- Open your venture's Board.
- Make sure the features you want are in Ready.
- Click Build several at the top of the Ready column.
- Tick the features you want to build. A bar appears at the bottom.
- Choose One after the other or At the same time, and copy what Flowmaps gives you.
If the features can't be built at the same time, Flowmaps says why, like "Brands get a refund" needs "Admins can review disputes" first, and offers one after the other instead.

Way 1: One after the other (easiest)
-
Open your project folder in the Code tab of the Claude desktop app.
-
Paste the sentence from the board, like:
Build "Travellers post check-in photos" and then "Brands can rate travellers" from Flowmaps, one after the other in this order, each on its own branch. Let me try each one before you start the next.
-
Claude Code builds the first feature, moves its card to In Progress, and asks you to try it.
-
Happy? Say "It works, finish it". The card moves to Shipped, and Claude Code starts the next one.
You ask once, and every card moves by itself. This is the way we recommend.
Way 2: At the same time
For features that don't need each other. Each one gets its own Claude Code session, and each session works in its own copy of your project (a worktree), so they don't overwrite each other's work.
-
On the board, pick the features and choose At the same time. You get one line per feature.
-
In the Claude desktop app, open a new Code session for the first feature, in your project folder, and paste its line:
Work in a separate git worktree for this feature, so other sessions don't get in the way. Build "Travellers post check-in photos" from Flowmaps.
-
Open another Code session in the same folder for the next feature, and paste its line. Repeat for each feature.
-
Your board now shows each of them In Progress.
Bringing it together
When a feature works, tell its session "It works, finish it". Claude Code adds it to your main project and moves the card to Shipped.
Do this one session at a time: finish one, then the next. If two features changed the same file, Claude Code sorts it out when it adds the second one, and tells you what it did.
Good to know
- Your project needs git, and ideally GitHub: see Save your work on GitHub. Every feature gets its own branch, so nothing gets mixed up.
- Running several sessions at once uses more of your Claude plan's usage at the same moment.
- Not sure? Start with one after the other. It's just as hands-off, and nothing can clash.
- Features from different ventures are different projects: build each in its own project folder.
