What is Claude Code?
Claude Code is Anthropic's AI coding agent. It works in your project on your own computer, writes the code, runs it and explains what it did.
Why plan before you build with Claude Code
Claude Code can build whole features on its own, which makes a good plan even more valuable. With a plan, it knows what to build next, what "done" means, and which rules (your stack, your style) to follow.

Tips for building with Claude Code as a beginner
- Open your project folder in the Code tab of the Claude desktop app (or in Claude Code in VS Code), so it can see your files.
- Let it finish one feature before starting the next.
- Try the feature yourself before you tell it to finish.
- Plan on your phone in the Claude app; build in Claude Code at your desk. Both use the same board.

Does Flowmaps replace Claude Code?
No. Flowmaps makes the plan and Claude Code does the building. You use both: Flowmaps decides what to build and in which order, and Claude Code turns each step into a working feature.
Do I need to know how to code to plan a Claude Code app with Flowmaps?
No. You describe your idea in your own words, and Flowmaps writes the plan in plain language. You copy each step into your builder when you're ready for it.
